Formats used:
1. My Cute Little Rhyme Games match up pairs of rhyming words. The words are presented on two different cartoons. As the student pairs up the words, the pictures pair up also. This multi-sensory approach to learning new words helps reinforce the sounds.
2. My Fun Little Sorting Games use two sorting formats, sorting boards and sorting ladders. The students learn the sounds as they sort them under the sound titles. The students have fun learning some of the trickier phonics sounds as they "play" these little games. The students practice their sorting and classifying skills, too.
3. My Sight Word Pattern Booklets are booklets that the teacher photocopies for the student. The phonograms at the top and the sight words below are patterned in sentences. The repetition helps the student learn both their sounds and the new sight word vocabulary. They practice oral reading with the words in context.
Students learn
a
lot
and have fun, too!
