Testimonials
Thank you everyone for your kind words and support!

It's great to know that my materials work for you.

1.  As a new Learning Assistance teacher, I didn't know quite how to teach phonics.  Your program saved me!  I used your Checklist to find out what the students needed and then used your books to teach the skills.  It was effortless.  The kids loved the "activity games" and I got lots of kudos from the other teachers.  Thanks a million!          R. Sokker

2. My first Grade 4 class taught me that they need phonics instruction, too.  I noticed that the students had some phonics weaknesses.  I quickly remedied that with the Learn-a-lot activities.  No planning for me and the students loved the hands-on activities.   A. Winston

3. As a District Resource teacher I find the Learn-a-lot workbook activities so easy to use with the learning disabled kids I support.  They need and love the hands-on nature of the activities.  The teachers have no trouble following the program I set up for their students.       B. Dawson

4. My Grade 2/3 students love your games.  They play them over and over.  They like the tokens and how they have their own deck of cards.  Thank you, Jan.      F.  Guildehind

5. Why doesn't every publisher write complete sets of activities?   Your concept is a real time saver for me!      J. Talquin

6.  I teach in an inner-city school and the student's skills are all over the map.  Your checklist helped me set up their programs.  It was easy to organize their work because I just photocopied the section of the workbook that they needed and put it in their folders.  Bingo!  Program planned and a piece of cake for me.   Thanks, Jan for your wonderful books and games.    L. Reuterfeld

7. When is your next book coming out?  I've relied on your program in my Resource room and am a real fan of yours.  What about a book on plurals?     B. Turner

Response: Thank you for the compliment. Funny that you mention Plurals.  I am currently field testing material for my next book on Plurals, Compound Words, Contractions and the like.  All my material is tested and refined before publication so I know that teachers in different teaching situations all find it useful.  Jan McDonald

8. Boy, do my Grade 3 kids ever love your games!  I put them out at Center's time and they pick their own decks according to what they worked on in the morning activities.  They love those activities, too.  It's the happy cartoons and the hands-on quality that turns them on to learning.  Thanks, Jan.   D. Parker.

9.  My Grade 1 students are crazy about the pull throughs and skinny books.  I tell parents to collect them at home and build a library for their child to practice.  They busily work away.  They love your activities and are disappointed if we miss a day.  I used your record keeping charts so I knew what to give them.  I like how I can individualize without a lot of extra work.      B. Walterson

10.  I made up games for math with the make-you-own deck sheet.  My Grade 3 students love to play your games at centre time.  They think that the workbook activities are games, too.    Hands-on is the only way to go!   P. Doppler

11. Having the books sequence the skills helped me know what to teach next.  I'm a new Grade two teacher and was unsure what order to teach the skills.  Your books told me what to teach and how to teach it.  You sure made my life a lot easier.    B. Scheffield

12.  Those record keeping charts are a great idea.  I just go through their books at report card time and I can quickly see what each student did that term.  H. Singh

13.  I used the checklist to set up my grade 3/4 programs.  I glued the record keeping chart in their books and just pulled the appropriate pages from your workbooks.  Wow!  Talk about easy program planning.    M. Wong

14. This comprehensive checklist is a must-have for recording phonetic awareness and mastery. Edupuppy.com
